Great Things Never Came out of Comfort Zones
GROWTH. It happens outside of your comfort zone. Last year in May, I launched my podcast LEAD LOVE THRIVE. And by God’s grace, it has grown 35% this year in listenership and it has impacted people around the globe.
ONE BOLD DECISION
But this growth was the result of a bold decision that was based on a belief that my life could somehow impact the lives of others through the spoken word. And with my decision came a lot of work, writing, recording, learning, stretching, pain, mistakes, and mishaps along the way. But because of all those things I experienced and chose to endure, I also experienced tremendous joy and growth in my character, mindsets, and skillsets.
I had many great podcast conversations and interviews in 2020 with so many amazing men and women of God. And I have received so much feedback on how this podcast has blessed, strengthened, and encouraged you in your faith and life journey. Although I’m not sure if I’ll continue on with the podcast, I am SO thankful to all of you who invited me to be a part of your day. I hope you were able to receive the encouragement and perspective shift you needed to BECOME and DO every single thing God has purposed you to do and become.

So thank you for making me better. Thank you for listening and subscribing. And thank you for allowing me to speak into your life because your life matters to me. But most importantly, your life matters to God.
As we get ready to close out 2020, may you make the decision to see the divine appointments in your 2020 disappointments. I pray you will make the decision to see the opportunities for growth in every obstacle you face. May you decide to step out of your comfort zone to do those things you love, even if they scare you and stretch you. May you make daily decisions to THRIVE and not just survive through life. And may you give yourself permission to GROW more, BECOME more, and DO more in 2021 —especially when you experience fear, doubt, and uncertainty. Because that’s when you will grow the most.
It’s time to get out of your comfort zone so you can become and do every single thing God desires you to do and become. It won’t also feel good. But all of the gains will be well worth all of the pain. Love you fam! Here’s to our best days being here and now and yet to come!!
