imperfections

Celebrating the Gift of Your Imperfections.

The gift of imperfection is being shared in audio form rather than written form. In this audio file, I share my reflections on how Moses and Gideon both expressed their feelings of inferiority, inadequacy, and insecurity when God called them to go and do great works in His name.

When it comes to the gift of your imperfections, here are some things to keep in mind:

  1. God sends us to lead and influence others for His glory (1 Pt. 2:9; Jn 15:16; Mt.28:19)
  2. God promises to be with us so we need not fear (Heb. 13:5; Mt. 28:20; Judges 6:16; Ex. 3:12)
  3. God provides us with step by step instructions for what He’s called us to do (Ex.4:12-17; Judges 6:16; 7:1-25)
  4. God speaks to our greatness, despite our self-doubt and feelings of inadequacy and inferiority (Ex.7:1; Judges 6:12)
  5. God encourages us to look at Him and not ourselves. He will perform the miracle (Heb. 12:2; Ex. 7:1-25)

I want to encourage you to:

  • Stop doubting your divine: identity, power, and greatness in Christ. He will make you into who you need to be as you GO.
  • Stop focusing on your weaknesses and inadequacies. Start Focusing on God’s greatness.
  • Stop worrying about the WHAT or HOW. You are the WHO and GOD is the HOW.
  • Stop focusing on what you can’t do. Start focusing on what God can and will do through you.
